Managing Vaccine Injury Attorney - Jonathan Svitak

As a managing vaccine injury attorney at Shannon Law Group, Jonathan Svitak focuses his practice primarily on litigating claims in the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP). Every day, Jonathan zealously represents people who were injured through no fault of their own by a vaccine before the U.S. Court of Federal Claims in Washington, D.C., fighting to secure the compensation and justice they deserve.

For the first few years of his legal career, Jonathan worked in a litigation practice. He understands how insurance companies think and can anticipate how your case will proceed through litigation. Since taking the reins of our vaccine injury practice in 2020, Jonathan has used these skills to resolve hundreds of vaccine injury cases, recovering millions of dollars in compensation for our clients.

Jonathan is involved in every step of our vaccine injury practice. As a managing attorney, he leads and supervises a team of paralegals and attorneys, conducts all initial client consultations, and handles most of our vaccine injury litigation.

Outside of our practice, Jonathan dedicates his time to educating the general public about vaccine injury compensation in the United States. In 2020, he published Understanding the Vaccine Injury Compensation Program.

In 2024, he co-authored a comprehensive book on SIRVA (Shoulder Injury Related to Vaccine Administration). He also regularly produces educational content for Shannon Law Group’s YouTube channel, educating the public on the ins and outs of VICP.

Jonathan lives in Naperville, Illinois with his wife and two children. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his young children across their many interests and activities, reading and learning new things, and traveling.
